I think Dr. Stickney is the best PCP I have ever had. The appointments don't always start on time but I assume that's because she is also giving other patients the care they need and deserve even if it doesn't fit in the scheduled appointment time. I love that she seems to follow the "Health At Every Size" philosophy and doesn't assume the answer to all my problems is to lose weight. I feel respected and it feels like we are collaborating on my care instead of her assuming I don't know anything about my own body and adopting a 'managerial' tone with me. I wish she were accepting new patients so I could refer friends to her!

I have always appreciated that Dr. Stickney presents options for care and gives me the choice to determine things for myself though I trust her judgement more than mine for sure! She makes myself and my family members feel comfortable and at ease. She Is compassionate and is truly invested in her patients. I always want to refer her (which I do) and yet I am afraid the word will get out and she will always be too booked up! She is already popular with the patients :) I have never had a negative experience at the Monroe clinic and I have been going there for many years. From the friendly front desk, security, imaging and lab techs to the MA's who greet me in the room!! I have always had a great experience!!! I appreciate you

The last doctor I visited at Providence was a very negative experience that kept me away from the office for over a year. When I received the letter that that doctor was leaving the practice and I'd be assigned a new PCP, I'd be lying if I said I wasn't a little relieved. Dr. Stickney was the doctor I was hoping to get. She asked lots of questions and ACTUALLY LISTENED TO MY ANSWERS! Imagine that! I could tell she was taking my experiences and wants to heart, and very clearly wanted to help me. I was so nervous going to this appointment and her energy put me at ease immediately. I left feeling very reassured, validated and actually cared for rather than just another name on the list like my last provider.

If I need to see Dr Stickney, I have almost always been able to see her when needed. I was once asked to go to the Walk-In clinic, as they could see me before Dr. Stickney had an opening - this was when I had home tested positive for Covid, so quick was appreciated.

I am quite fond of Dr. Stigney. She is a great active listener, inclusive of my personal opinion, and respective of my decisions with her medical guidance. If I were her appointing authority, I would do what I could to keep her as a strong member of the medical team.

My care provider is wonderful and thorough but it felt a little rushed and I was seen 30 minutes late and it was difficult to get an appointment took a couple weeks. I was seeing her about my concussion. All in all great Clinic.

It makes me want to get healthy and to stay healthy , which is something I have avoided in the past due to either dis-satisfaction or a phobia of mine. I love my Providence team !
