Physician Assistant Whitney Wriston became a medical provider to help educate and empower people to live healthier lives. "My philosophy of care is that if you give people access to care and education, you enable them to make choices that lead to healthier, happier lives and communities," she says.

"In my practice I emphasize disease prevention through healthy lifestyle choices," says Whitney. "I work to develop trusting relationships with patients so they feel comfortable talking about any concerns, no matter how big or small."

Whitney received a degree in physiological sciences from the University of California, Los Angeles, and her physician assistant degree at Oregon Health & Science University in Portland.

Whitney is a West Coast native who enjoys gardening, camping and boating with her husband and son.
