About Ali M. Cheaito

Dr. Ali Cheaito is a general surgeon fellowship trained in hepatobiliary & pancreatic surgery who is also skilled in many specialty surgeries, such as colorectal, liver and gallbladder, and pancreatic surgery. He offers minimally invasive (laparoscopy) and advanced minimally invasive options for many procedures. A graduate of Boston University School of Medicine, Dr. Cheaito completed his residency at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit and a fellowship in multi-organ transplant and hepatobiliary surgery at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. He is certified by the American Board of Surgery and member of the American College of Surgeons. With years of experience as assistant professor of surgery and a practicing clinician at UCLA and Olive View-UCLA Medical Center, Dr. Cheaito has the expertise and training to handle a wide range of cases, including complex surgeries. My first goal is to establish a relationship so my patients feel confident in putting their care in my hands. Second, I emphasize continuity of care. I also want patients to know they can trust me with their lives; I will take care of your family and loved ones as if they are my own family.
