About Phillip A. Letourneau
"Medicine allows me to serve my community on a personal level and care for them in times of illness or need," says Phillip Letourneau, M.D. "I have had a life-long dedication to service and helping people in my community."
In his practice Dr. Letourneau emphasizes clarity on treatment plans to reduce anxiety, confusion and put patients at ease. "I want to identify the optimal treatment plan for each patient and communicate that clearly," he says. "I have benefited tremendously from training in great communities in Texas, Louisiana and Oregon. I am committed to provide the best possible care for all patients."
Dr. Letourneau received his medical degree from Louisiana State University Health, School of Medicine in New Orleans. He completed an internship and residency in general surgery at the University of Texas Medical School at Houston and a fellowship in surgical critical care at Oregon Health & Science University. He has also received special training in NIH T32 Trauma Research at the University of Texas Medical School at Houston. Dr. Letourneau is board certified in general surgery.

Surgery excellentIn ER care excellence except I didn't receive my prescribed meds at night or morning. Surgeon may have ordered I not receive my Rx Cardiology meds. ER did feed me well and made sure I was hydrated. Thanx
