Malin S. Adams, AGPCNP

Malin Adams, A.G.P.C.N.P. began her nursing career in home health and wanted to address the gaps in patient care that she kept experiencing due to her limited scope of practice. This led her to become a practitioner and work more with inter-disciplinary care teams, family members, and others supporting people with chronic illness. She values that each of these contributors brings different experiences and knowledge that can greatly influence a patient's quality of care. She enjoys building lasting relationships with patients and their families so that everyone feels comfortable and able to express concerns. "My philosophy of care is to treat each patient as if they were my own grandmother or grandfather. I strive to acknowledge the humanity of each patient and make sure they are being heard as a person, not just a patient." Malin loves the outdoors, photography, traveling, and spending time with her two cats. She is new to Portland and excited to explore the area and meet new people.
