Shanta Shriver is the best provider I have ever had. Highly recommend her!

Shanta is amazing! It is refreshing to have a provider who truly listens and cares. I have followed Shanta to many different clinics as she moves around the Providence offices, and I plan to continue to do so! You rarely find a provider as wonderful as Shanta.

Shanta Schriever is the most caring ob provider I've ever had. She's been my provider for close to 20 years. I've followed her to three different clinics, she's that good. She listens, understands and is fully present. She's the BEST!

Shanta is one of the most compassionate providers I've ever had the privilege of meeting. She was an excellent listener, addressed my concerns, and followed up afterwards to make sure I was feeling okay and understood the medication she was prescribing. So grateful that she was available when I needed care on short notice.

Shanta is very personable and knowledgeble, highly recommend as she puts you at ease right away.

I rarely get the opportunity to see the same person for my annual OBGYN appointment at the Women's East Medical Clinic. However, I have always received excellent care from the team of doctors and practitioners at this clinic. They are far more engaged with me during visits. They look closely at my history, ask good questions, are gentle with procedures, and are happy to answer questions without coming across as rushed. This has not been my experience at other facilities and I've chosen to pay a little more for the Providence health plan specifically so that I can receive care at the East Providence Women's Clinic.

This was my first visit with Shanta and I came away feeling great about it and her. She is open, caring, and kind. Her energy is positive and inviting. I couldn't have wished for a better experience. Thank you!

She had a really thorough knowledge of my medical history, was really kind and thoughtful about making sure to tell me what she was doing and why (which showed that an understanding and compassion for my past trauma/mental health history as well), and she answered all of my many questions with details that put me at ease. I told my friends this was the best OBGYN appointment (and maybe best medical care) I've ever had, so thank you Shanta!

Everyone I interacted with was fantastic. I've seen Shanta for years and this was my first visit at this clinic, it was great. If I could rate Shanta higher than 10 I would. If we are being completely honest, I never write reviews. However I think this time is especially important I do, because I want to highly recommend Dr. Shanta Schriever. I've never felt as heard and comfortable before by a provider. She was incredibly patient with me as I expressed any thoughts or concerns I had. Not only that, but she educated me without any judgement nor disregard. She listened and was present during the whole visit. And I can't say this enough, she made it COMFORTABLE, during a not so comfortable exam. Such a vibrant beautiful personality! That's more than I can say I've ever positively experienced at such a visit. Grateful I came across Dr. Schriever.

I've been seeing Shanta for many many years. Everytime she is patient and supportive. She cares more about me as a whole than just my lady parts. I feel very safe and comfortable asking her anything about my health. I will continue to drive a little farther to see her.

I am very greatful for Shanta. She is very patient and caring. I had a lot of questions and concerns, that she answered. I was comfortable with sharing my medical concerns and admitted that I didn't know what to look for with self-breast exams. She didn't judge me, she immediately started educating me. Now, I am more aware and can do this self awareness body exam. She just might have saved my life because all of my aunts had breast cancer and over half of their daughters have breast cancer as well.

My provider was attentive, caring and curious about me. She did a great job explaining what I needed to know and took the time to understand my values and provide health care options within those values. I highly recommend her.
