Dr Lovell is what all other surgeons should aspire to be. He wants to answer all your questions, explains things so you understand and acts as though he genuinely cares.During my surgery a year ago, my experience with each member of the orthopedic team including the receptionist was second to none. Everyone from office staff to nurses to PA to physician were top notch!

Dr. Lovell is very knowledgeable and personable. He is willing to try things to help my ambulation and also ordered the MRI I needed to see what my knee diagnosis was (no other Ortho has done this in the past 15 years). No other doctor in the past 15 years was willing to help me with increasing the movement of my knee (have had multiple surgeries and two TKR) and had stated that "this is the best it will ever get". I wish I had see Dr. Lovell again many years ago for his advice. I left his office with hope.

Was seen for a second opinion for a recent surgery by another provider. I was concerned about recovery time taking too long. This provider explained and gave suggestions on how to help with further recovery and was very helpful.

Had right knee replacement 1 1/2 ago with different provider.my knee is definitely better than what it was, but not as good as I hoped for. Now it is time to do the other one. Dr.Lovell came highly recommended, and I can see why. He was wonderful, explaining all options to me, and listening. I know I made the right decision switching to his office. I felt really good about our consultation, and hope, that this surgery will have a better outcome.

He is a very good surgeon!

Most of these questions don't really pertain to this visit. Dr Lovell replaced my hip joints in 2006 & 2007. I need to check in every 5 yrs or so. Fortunately, his work his serving me well and he's always open to my questions. I value knowing he & his staff are there in case I need them.

Dr Lovell explains everything with all options. He listens to all your concerns. He has given me hope at a chance to help my knee

Dr Lovell is one of the most caring and surgically the best surgeon I have been fortunate to have in my 71 years. He truly loves what he does and infuses confidence in his patients.

Dr.Lovell has an open and warm bedside manner. He set the agenda and followed it. He carefully listened to me, then asked questions, then went through a very thorough listing of treatment options. I definitely understood pros and cons of all options. Surgeons often have the reputation of being brusque and not listening but that was not my experience with Dr. Lovell. Very professional. I was impressed.

The nurse that brought us into the exam room and prepared us for Dr. Lovell coming in to see us was impersonal and cold. My wife and I did not feel that she was all that friendly and welcoming. Maybe she was having a bad day, I don't know. Meeting Dr. Lovell for the first time was very nice. He made us feel that we were in good hands. We really liked him.

All good experiences so far with Dr. Lovell and his staff. Dr. Lovell answered all my questions and provided great detail and specifics regarding the total hip replacement surgery and the components he uses and prefers

Dr Lovell is from what I have seen (my ex husband had two hip revisions) and heard (numerous friends and acquaintances had very positive things to say about their experiences) a fantastic surgeon. And I am hopeful I will have a great outcome as well. In addition and almost as important he is very candid clear and open when he discusses the surgery and my overall situation. He is very approachable and has a great bedside manner! I refer others to him all of the time!

I have never had a doctor that showed so much compassion and totally listened to me. He explained everything leading up to my surgery.

Dr. Lovell is the best! The guy knows what he's doing and is kind and compassionate. He replaced my hip when I was 46 years old. I was pretty much disabled from hip pain and Immobility. The other doctor I was going to kept telling me he wouldn't replace my hip because I was too young. Dr. Lovell took one look at me and said "do you think you waited long enough?" (as in disbelief someone would be going around with a hip that bad). He said he would replace my hip and I was overcome with relief. Dr. Lovell put in a ceramic hip that has given me no problems for the last 20 years. He gave me my life back!
