William D. Kalichman, MD

For Dr. Kalichman medicine is a calling; a gift that he does not take for granted. His highest priority is to use his knowledge, drive and passion to solve complex medical concerns and improve his patient's lives. As an internist he cares for individuals with chronic and often rare health conditions all with a caring, compassionate approach. His vision for his patients is to have the best life possible; he seeks to be a guide for them along the way offering education and support. Dr. Kalichman earned his Bachelors of Science in physiology with minors in psychology and physics from Rutgers College, The State University of New Jersey in New Brunswick, New Jersey. He went on to complete his medical degree at the Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in Piscataway, New Jersey. Following medical school he completed his residency at Yale University School of Medicine, Norwalk Hospital in Norwalk, Connecticut. After completing his residency, Dr. Kalichman was the Chief Medical Resident at Yale University. In addition to being Board certified in Internal Medicine he is also certified in pilot and air traffic controller examinations as well as wound and hyperbaric oxygen treatment.
