About Mandeep Kingra

“I like to be hands on and help people,” says Mandeep Kingra, M.D. “I take time to listen to patients, educate them and – together – come up with a plan to best treat them.”

Dr. Kingra is honored to help educate women about their bodies.

“My role gives me the opportunity to help women know about their bodies,” she says. “I am able to explain and better educate women on their anatomy and generally how their body works. This helps women make informed decisions and the best choices for themselves.”

Warm and friendly, Dr. Kingra takes time to get to know her patients, build trust and help them feel comfortable during visits.

“I especially enjoy the relationships I develop with patients. We can have long-term relationships, providing care throughout a woman’s lifetime and even generationally.”

Originally from Vancouver, Canada, Dr. Kingra now lives in Portland with her husband. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, cooking, traveling and hiking.

Dr. Kingra was incredible. I was so nervous as I have a lot of negative experiences with past OBGYNs but she listened to me, validated my concerns, discussed several options previous providers didn't. I left feeling amazing and even immediately reached out to my mom, friends and husband to express what an amazing experience it was. I am so happy to have found such an amazing provider. She really helped me feel safe in such a vulnerable appointment. I feel so lucky. She is amazing and I would highly recommend her to everyone and anyone!

When I needed to switch insurance for my husband's cancer treatment a year ago, this also meant I had to find all new care providers for myself. I needed a repeat routine exam based on results I had received from my previous care provider, right before the insurance switch. I chose Dr. Kingra randomly and have been overjoyed to have found her. I've visited her office three times, two of those times to see her, and she has been nothing short of any/everything I find admirable and required in a care provider. She's a gem and Providence is quite lucky to have her.
