I LOOOOVE Dr. Mitaru! He's always responsive, personable and knowledgeable. This time, I had a meltdown in front of him, (bipolar) and he took as much time as I needed to let me feel "heard", and he also set me up with a staff psychologist and kind of just talked me off the ledge. He's *very* skilled and empathetic. Can't say enough for him. Please show him this, so he knows the impact he has.

This was my first visit to this provider as I changed primary care physicians. It was very good and I look forward to having Dr. Mitaru as my primary care physician. Since my cancer diagnosis in January I have had great experiences with all my visits to Providence.

Dr. Mitaru still seems *curious* about his patients and how they're doing/functioning. This is rare and valuable in a primary care provider. He made me feel comfortable, respected, and heard, on top of providing excellent care and referrals. I couldn't ask for better.

I was very happy to get Dr. Mitaru as my PC physician. He was attentive, thorough, and personable. My only frustration was that it took 4+months for me to get my new patient appointment. But presumably, now that I'm In the Providence system, referrals will be easier. I'm very happy to have Dr. Mitaru as my doctor.

This was my first visit with my GP - it went very well - it did how ever take ~ 4+months to schedule, the same goes for a dermatology visit I made many months ago

Dr. Mitaru is so thorough, informed, and kind. It is evident that he really listens to me when I speak to him. I only wish that it was quicker to get scheduled with him but I'm sure that he is very busy due to his well-earned reputation as an excellent physician.

He also explained how my prescribed medication worked, in laymen's terms. If someone had no medical background and less health literacy, they could easily understand his explanation and be empowered to understand how to advance their health. Thank you.

Dr. Was very quick with his exam. Needed to stop him in hallway to ask couple more questions. It was hard to ascertain my follow up directions. He was personable. I believe I was worked into his schedule and so that could have been the reason for his quickness.
