Dr. Anwar is not only a superb, thorough doctor, he is a superb communicator. As a retired health journalist, I appreciate his nuanced, sophisticated care. He does not push surgery or invasive procedures that are not necessary. Providence is very lucky to have a doctor with such strong clinical skills and lucid interpersonal skills.

Dr Anwar was a new provider for me. I was immediately impressed with his cordial focus on my issues, his understanding of the issues, and his expeditious addressing of those issues. And very importantly, his treatment of my condition was deft, practiced, fast, and gentle; moreover it was the FIRST of several times with different people that I'd ever received the treatment and it didn't cause me physical pain. And the first time that the treatment was effective!

I was able to see Dr. Anwar as a waitlisted patient and he got me in right away. This was my first meeting with him and I was delighted by how much I was able to accomplish in his office. After Dr. Anwar examined me they were able to fit me in for a hearing test and then he came back and talked to me about the next steps. Everyone in the office was courteous and lovely.

Have been receiving ENT care for years from Dr. Anwar and have enjoyed good rapport & thorough examination & treatment to my inner ear & nose issues, always feeling improvement in my condition by the end of visit.

Dr. Anwar was great in every which way. My only issue was with obtaining the codeine that Dr. Anwar prescribed me. It took 2 days to clear up the Issue to get a clearance for the codeine for the pharmacist to receive approval at a time when I was In tremendous pain. However, things were taken care of eventually.

The physician advised me to take the least invasive steps to address my problem. He could have recommended a procedure that would have been more costly but chose take a simpler path. I'm impressed.

Dr. Anwar is a friendly and warm man. He is also a great doctor.

Dr Abbas Anwar is an ENT. I made an appt to see him as the ENT I formerly saw retired. Was able to obtain an appt the same day called for treatment for an ear Infection. In addition this ENT attended to another medical condition he observed.

It took a little longer than expected to get an appointment. I got into a room within 10 minutes but it took about 20 minutes or so before the doctor actually came in. I really like Dr. Anwar so he is worth the wait. He's very professional, personable, explains everything and takes care of business.

For the most part, I am pleased with the service and care that I received with the doctor. As a deaf person, using a special phone, I would suggest that the office staff be aware of what Caption phones are, and their communication with hard of hearing and deaf patients.

Dr Anwar and everyone associated with his practice, are working at what I feel, is a very high level of skill and dedication. The doctor Is obviously knowledgeable and experienced but also able to communicate clearly all of the steps available to help solve my medical Issue and to make sure I understood those steps. It's a busy office due to the fact that patients appreciate how they are being treated. Everyone in the office, as well as those who I'v spoken to on the phone, have gone out of their way to help me organize appointments and get the answers I require to heal. I never feel like I'm being rushed or brushed off. In a time of declining customer service practices and more and more "automated bots", the conscious effort to provide real human care is both comforting and very much appriciated.

Nothing bad to comment on other than all docs seem to be booked so that if a new appointment is required one usually has to create the appointment several months after the curren appointment. I had no impact this time as I have no need for a near term scheduled appointment. Good was the fact that the doctor explained what he could or could not do (issue I have impacts both throat-his area, and the esophagus-not his area of expertise). Doctor also wanted to be kept informed of the actions by the GI doctor so he asked me to use the MyChart messaging to do so.

Dr. Anwar was amazing in every way. He made time promptly to treat an urgent medical matter - a rapidly growing infected thyroglossal cyst - for my daughter when I could not get any other provider to expedite an appointment. He was not only knowledgeable, capable, professional, well-trained, and skillful, he also was extremely kind and patient with my daughter who was scared to have her cyst drained as well as with us as concerned parents. An absolute shining star of a physician who made time to fit us Into his booked schedule twice and who ultimately helped us when he did not have to and no other physician did. He saved us a trip to the ER and also provided all-around 5-star care.
