About Eleni M. Clare
"Shared decision making and evidence-based practice," says Eleni Clare, PA-C. "I like to explain treatment management options to families so that we can make an informed decision together and find the best plan for their child."
"I became a clinician because I have a role model in my father who is an emergency doctor," she says. "I felt excited and comfortable when I would visit him at work and knew that medicine would be a fulfilling career for me." As a PA-C, Eleni believes strongly in optimal team practice. Eleni earned her physician assistant degree from Barry University in St. Petersburg, Fla. She has more than 4 years experience in pediatric emergency medicine and is board certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
Born and raised in Virginia Beach, Va., Eleni is an avid Pittsburgh sports fan. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, skiing, reading at the beach, and exploring the Portland food and restaurant scene.

I liked that the provider asked another doc to come give a second look. I liked that they gave us options. Scheduling was fine except the waits for appts are long.

I found this specialist appt to be very quick and easy. We had a good talk prior to examination and the exam was very fast. We discussed in depth the options for treatment plan and scheduled a follow up visit. The only thing not exceptional was the wait for the appointment. After our GP ped completed the referral, we were contacted immediately about scheduling, but the appointment was set multiple months out. For a breathing concern, and heading into flu season, that was frustrating. But I'm very happy with the care received during the visit.
