Sarah A. Leffler, MD

Pediatrician Sarah Leffler, M.D., is here for the whole family. That means providing children with the best care possible, as well as communicating clearly with their parents and helping them navigate the health care system. “My goals are to take care of the whole family,” she says, “and to help kids grow into the healthiest versions of themselves.”

Dr. Leffler is especially passionate about breastfeeding medicine, childhood obesity and early childhood development. “I hope to promote lifelong health and well-being, starting at an early age,” she says. The best part of her job, she adds, is “watching children grow and develop into wonderful, compassionate human beings.”

A graduate of the University of Washington, she earned her medical degree at the University of Arizona and completed her pediatrics residency at Phoenix Children’s Hospital. In addition to her medical training, she holds a master’s degree in public health and hopes to play a role in improving pediatric health throughout the community.

A mom herself, Dr. Leffler loves spending free time with her kids, husband and fur babies. She also enjoys reading, hiking, camping, and Fit4Mom stroller classes.
