I am an RN. 31+ years in ICU,ER,Cardiac all over the country with my wife, also an ICU RN with 40+ years experience. I needed to see Dr. Holtzer about several things but mainly about my arrhythmias & feeling tired as another MD I work with in the Cardiac Stress Lab noticed my dyspnea when walking short distances in the hospital. I was ordered a cardiac monitor which I wore for 23 days. Additionally Dr. Holtzer discovered a cardiac murmur upon which he ordered an ECHO. Both the MD appointment and the ECHO were miraculously able to be obtained within 3 days of ordering. The monitor results just happened to be available on the same day as the ECH was read by a Cardiologist. Dr. Holtzer gave me a referral to a Cardiologist with a diagnostic reason of SVT but not for the severe Aortic Regurgitation that was discovered with the ECHO. I spoke to the staff at Spokane Cardiology for an appointment & was told it would be 1 month out unless a modification of the reason was prioritized. I notified Dr. Holtzer & he stated In the myChart APP that he re-submitted the referral to the Cardiologist with the updated ECHO results attached. Hopefully I will receive a call soon for both issues with the possible need for a TAVR first and then a possible cardiac ablation second.I can do very little without getting fatigued and out of breath. Dr. Holtzer is awesome. I hope the office of Spokane Cardiology calls me soon.

Holtzer is the kindest doctor I've ever had who actually listens. I moved an hour away and still keep him as my provider because of this. It's hard to find a good doctor. He is worth the travel! :)
