About Ian S. Gallaher
Dr. Ian Gallaher graduated from the University of Washington School of Medicine and completed his internship at Sacred Heart in Spokane, WA. He then moved to Minneapolis where he completed his residency in radiation oncology at the University of Minnesota. He returned to Walla Walla where he previously graduated from Whitman College. Dr. Gallaher collaborates with patients to develop a cancer management strategy based on combining the clinical details of their case, their personal goals and wishes, cutting-edge research and state-of-the-art technology. Dr. Gallaher views this as a dynamic process that depends on building a trusting relationship through careful listening, empathy and dependability.
