Aveena Gurung, MD

I really like my doctor, she listens, looks me over really well, and knows what she is doing. It only took one time for her to see my scalp, my swollen toes, and she put me on the best medicine to stop my pain and get rid of the itchy, scaly scalp. I appreciate the kindness shown to my symptoms, and how I was handled. I am on the road to being healthier. There is nothing better than that. And it is thanks to Dr. Aveena.

Dr Aveena Garung is very approachable and answers any questions I may have, orders appropriate blood work and responds to after visit questions or concerns and refill requests in a timely manner

They were very nice, but the provider talks so low I couldn't hardly hear her.

Very nice to understand what was going on

Kadlec providers always have treated we with upmost respect and patience. I am developmentally delayed and the talk to me and explain in terms I understand. They talk to me and not just my sister.

I have had only positive visits. I am grateful to have such a great, nice, supportive, caring, knowledgeable dr. Taking care of me. I have already recommended her to my co worker. It's amazing she knows my new medical history or visits every time I go in and makes sure that everything is working out together. She really is amazing!

I feel very comfortable with Dr. Avena and feel she cares about me as a patient.

My symptoms were complicated so she did adequate test that provided a rule-out of Rheumatoid Arthritis.

So far I am quite satisfied. Treatment is not complete at this date.

I have hearing issues, & find it very hard to hear important information when I visit with Aleena Gurung, otherwise I'm very satisfied with her as my RA provider

I absolutely love her as my doctor. She clearly cares and is trying to make sure I don't have to always stay on medication for my lupus. She and the entire rheumatology dept has been amazing.

I just luv my team at kadlec rhumand I can easily drive there now too (literally the only concern-getting lost in the maze of roads). They are all excellent and esp dr.G!!

Great staff. Made to feel provider and staff were concerned and interested in my case it did take a few mo ths to get an appointment and several calls to scheduler. Dr is very busy. May need more dr. In clinic .

Dr Aveena is great! She is so kind and caring. She is gentle, and soft it definitely helps me to feel calm and comfortable. She goes above and beyond to make sure her patients are fully taken care of medically. Most of the Drs I've seen thru Kadlec or providence have been nice and helpful until they really read my chart and medication list and see a disorder I have. My family has been to appointments before and after this became a condition and they all can see the difference. I have been treated differently and not in a good way. There is a small amount of drs that I see on short and long term basis that are still great and they have never treated me any differently. Dr Aveena is one of those drs that is there to help you with your medical needs and goes above and beyond. She seems like she genuinely cares about people no matter what and she is really knowledgeable. She taught me about the arthritis I have because I really didn't know much. She is patient with every question even if it's about other things I have going on. I Appreciate her a lot and I recommend her to anyone who is needing a rheumatologist. She will give you the best diagnosis she can with what she learns from you. I feel confident in my diagnosis.

Best rhumatolagist and staff

This was my first visit with your clinic. I actually arrived about 40 mins early (had to travel) and they still got me right in. I was in, taken care of and leaving by the time of my actual appt. I was very nervous about starting treatment for a new diagnosis, but Dr Aveena was very kind, and helpful. I really appreciated how easy the whole experience was.

Dr Avena was easy to talk to. She answered all my questions. She did an exam. She asked me many questions about my symptoms. I felt like she was thorough.
